The Kerala State Film Development Corporation (KSFDC) was established in the year 1975, with the prime objective of facilitating the production and promotion of Malayalam cinema besides developing a culture of appreciating good cinema. ‘Chitanjali Film Studio’, our flagship unit is credited with transplanting Malayalam Cinema from Madras to Kerala, its natural habitat. Several classics of Malayalam Cinema that helped raise the stature of Indian Film Industry globally were made using the facility of Chitranjali Studio. The studio houses the second largest sound proof indoor shooting floor in Asia. The Corporation also owns an ever-expanding chain of state-of-the-art cinema theatres spread all over Kerala. C Space, KSFDC’S OTT Platform showcasing curated content, will commence streaming in the month of December.

KSFDC is conducting a 3 day Cine Expo from 10 December 2023 to 12 December 2023 at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. It is held along with the 28th International Film Festival of Kerala. This Expo will be attended by eminent film professionals, technicians, producers and students from all over India and abroad. We request you to make use of this wonderful opportunity to introduce your equipment, services and innovations to this elite group. This Expo is for initiating and enabling a global exposure on the development of digital space and the most current technologies related with film making. The exhibition timing is from 9.30 AM to 8.00 PM.
